We are AGS, a statewide organization composed of community college students. We are recognized for our pursuit of academics, leadership, and high scholastic achievement. Alpha Gamma Sigma Honors Society develop new solution to preexisting or rising problems within the community. As well as actively promoting and being involved in community service events.

AGS Mobile App. AGS Pi Chapter has just recently created a mobile app. It is currently in beta and will be updated on around a monthly basis. Please, do leave comments and suggestions for the app at the bottom of this page and check out our app here.

AGS Equity Survey. We need you, the members, to fill out this anonymous survey regarding your personal background and time in AGS in order to get funded by the Equity Program. With this funding, we will be able to create more fun, rewarding activities for you to participate in, so go and fill out this short survey by clicking the button on the left or this link here.

Up to Us Program. AGS is working with Net Impact, a nonprofit organization, to draw educate and inspire action involving the national debt by participating in the Up to Us program. In this program, different campuses compete to see who can draw the most attention on their respective campus regarding the nation debt which is scored by the amount of pledges signed on their website. Therefore, we need you, the members, to sign this pledge and get other people from Los Angeles Pierce College to sign too by clicking the button or this link here. Churro Thursdays. AGS will be selling churros on the Mall on Thursdays. They will cost $1.00 per churro. So come over and buy/sell some churros with us! Sign up for the weekly churro event by clicking on the button on the left, the upcoming events, or this link here.

We're introducing a new opportunity for you to get involved in AGS this semester-  committees. You may earn 40 points at the end of the semester for joining a committee(s)! But only if you attend at least 10 committee meetings throughout the semester and are found to have been an active participant, and miss no more than 2 meetings since joining. Joining a committee is optional and just another way to provide service and earn points.

The Publicity Committee has the job of publicizing events and the club, and will be led by our Publicity Chair, David Bodden. Meetings are Tuesdays from 1:00pm to 2:00pm 

The Social Committee has the job of finding and creating new social events, such as potlucks, etc, and will be led by our Social Chair, Sajida Uma. Meetings are Thursdays from 10:30am to 11:00am.

The Fundraising Committee has the job of finding new and unique ways to raise funds for AGS, and will be led by our Fundraising Chair, Lucie Wagner. Meetings are Mondays from 11:30am to 12:00pm
